Windows Update XP
I'm having trouble with one of my XP machines. It keeps showing the same updates even after installing them. Its happened a few times now. Installed new updates, restart, same updates show. I've tried the following...
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910339
but still no joy. anyone having the same troubles or know of a fix (without a full fresh install)

Re: Windows Update XP
Look for the shield.
Click on shield and select 'custom' download.
Updates show and unclick and then cancel.
When box shows about 'don't show these updates again' click box.
Job done!

Have you actusally checked in Control Panel that they have installed. There was a problem with the update today, but MS know about it and are sorting out a fix.

Re: Windows Update XP
On my machine all 3 updates were installed correctly.
Just had the problem where it wanted to update the updates for the best part of an hour.
