Avast 6 Update Issues
I use Avast 6 on my desktop PC that is running Windows VISTA Business SP2.
Since the recent program update to 6.0.1367 it keeps warning that the virus definitions are out of date and at the previous issue, however when I click to update it goes away and checks and says the virus definitions are up to date.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I seem to have exactly the same problem with Avira since they updated it.

It's working fine for me too on my Windows 7 lappy, but still got this problem on Windows Vista Business!

I've visited the Avast Forums and there seem to be a number of problems with the 6.0.1367 update for several users across a number of OS's.
I have resolved the problem with update using a suggested solution on the Avast Forum by using the Repair Option in Control Panel>Programs & Features>Avast then a reboot.
This is the first problem I've had using Avast and hope it's the last!

i find avast very unobtrusive since i was using another firewall , avast is like a breath of fresh air .
