Hi guys. Quite a while back some kind soul told me how to get Avast 4.7 to automatically scan files transferred via MSN. I upgraded to V 6. a few months back and can't recall how to do it so could anyone point me in the right direction please? Many thanks as always.

If you ever get stuck again go to the sites search page and put in your username and the item you want to search for.. In this case I selected AVAST and it gave me only two pages worth..
The problem was that I'd been trying to use the folder Alwil software listed in c\:program files as suggested in the other thread but it turns out that it isn't the right folder anymore. Avast V.6 is in new folder labelled Avast which I hadn't noticed. Quite why the Alwil folder is still listed in c\:program files despite being redundant I don't know.
