Does anyone know how to get rid of Security Tool my friend has this problem and cant get on line he has Windows XP

You may have to download the superantispyware and malwarebytes tools for him and transfer them across on a usb stick. If you do this, be careful. I've come across a couple of 'nasties' recently that actually write stuff back to the usb stick to try and cross-infect. Probably best to use a stick that can be blanked after use.

Download MalwareBytes, stick it on a memory / usb key. http://www.myantispyware.com/2008/08...rojan-remover/
Goto this website http://www.myantispyware.com/2010/03...ity-tool-2010/ and print out the instructions, pop round yer mates house and get him to put the kettle on while you act like a computer God..
Follow instruction, job done, bask in praise..

Sometimes this will block Malware Bytes and other software running.
You will need to launch a program called RKill available at the link below that will stop all processes of this virus and let you continue cleaning your system.
I have used the method below to clean several machines of this annoying virus:

You want to run RKill as soon as you enter Windows. Don't wait for anything else to load up such as the sodding virus.

tried getting rid of this on a mates system and it took a lot of windows files with it and just ended up with a complete wipe and reload in the end.
