MSE Scanning

Hi,

I've got MSE installed on my computer and it's reporting as potentially unprotected becuase I've not run a scan for a while.

I've run full scans on all my drives and it's still reporting the same.

Any ideas?

Re: MSE Scanning

The windows security centre reporting isn't always correct. I"d just ignore it. Turn that report off and turn it back on again and see if it detects that MSE is installed & up-to-date... I wouldn't worry so long as YOU know its up-to-date

used to have this problem with AVG ,hilarious that MS security center doesn't recognise it's own security program though

I also used to have the same issue with AVG (which is why I advised to ignore Windoze)

And yes...Its highly laughable that Windows doesn't recognise an MS product...

Re: MSE Scanning

...and to just return to this one...

Apart from doing another scan on the 7/12/2010 - it's been reported as green / protected since then. Very odd.

I don't know if this is related but my sons security center refused to recognize VMs security all of a sudden, fine on mine and my other sons ,we use the same OS .I had to reinstall the security to get it right again
