Norton Autorenew service

My Norton product is just coming up to its first annual renewal date. As I have a Norton account there is an auto renewal feature if you have stored your card details.

Weird thing is, I just had an E-mail reminder of the impending auto renewal from Norton. IN FRENCH. Checked all the details on my account and it clearly shows that I am in the UK, and the amount is showing correctly in GBP and not Euro.

Anyone else had this happen?

Red face Re: Norton Autorenew service

I have used N.A.V. for the past three years, I have found it to be very reliable, it is set to update and scan on a day/time of your choice and will also scan automatically if any problem is detected. N.A.V. gives a popup reminder of how many days left to renew which is happening at the moment as mine is up for re-newel on 22/11/2009. My subscription renewal is with:
pete@worthydeal.co.uk who sends me a code and instructions on how and when to enter the code to activate another twelve months. Try Pete with an email you will be amazed at the his price his website is www.worthydeal.co.uk

Re: Norton Autorenew service

Thanks, but when you buy the online versions of Norton software you can opt for automated renewal, and as long as the details on file are current there is no need to take any action.

Just had my subscription confirmation through, so it's all working. It's just a pain I have to use babelfish to translate Nortons e-mails every time.

Re: Norton Autorenew service

You may find it cheaper though to buy a new copy.

The renewal costs for my Norton IS have always been higher than simply buying a new copy of the software and entering the CDROM code, especially if you get to the shops at the right time.

Then you get the rights to upgrade free during your subscription period so you get the new version as well. Maybe a little more fiddly.
