Help with PC Guard

Hi can anyone help please..
got a windows security alert that my anti virus was not working and to restart my pc, and if the problem persists to reinstall my anti virus...
so I did twice...
the second time I uninstalled pc guard before downloading ...
but it is still not working and still got the message anti virus can not be found in windows security...
although in is showing up in my programs

I would temporarily install AVG or Avast so you have a running AV. If one of these installs ok we can move on but if you have problems installing a different AV we need to look into possible malware infection


you could try the removal tool to ensure its completely gone before trying a reinstall

have installed AVG no problem... and have completly removed pc guard...thank you

I am using windows xp...and no i dont think it was the same problem pc guard just stopped working!!!

If you used the PCguard uninstall tool it may be worth trying to install it again? if it fails again just uninstall it again for now
