davidoc is an unknown quantity at this point
windows defender

Hi guys...I have recently got myself windows vista home premium and within that is windows defender which as you know is supposed to stop malware...it is also a malware scanner...now what I would like to know is: Do you think it is good enough or do you reccomend I still use my a-squared scanner also.

Hi david, I too have Vista, home premium, and I have been running defender alongside Norton 360, and its been fairly good, although it does take a long time for a full scan, even so it has picked up a couple of things Norton didn't. As a malware, spy ware scanner I find it OK, also give the free version of AVG anti-spyware a go, Ive also got that, you can tell I'm paranoid
