Re: AD-aware problem

Have you downloaded the latest version of Ad-Aware from the site and checked your Firewall to see if something maybe blocking it?

I know someone who couldn't update AVG and this was because of Spybot blocking it and they mad to completely uninstall spybot before it worked.

Think you have to switch over to Ad-aware 2007 free version as from January 2008 as Ad-aware SE is obsolete/defunct/ no longer supported. Check out their site.

Re: AD-aware problem

Thanks...

have d/loaded latest version, but get a message that the definitions file is missing or corrupted..

Firewall not causing the problem.

Spybot has never caused a problem previously...
