Recent problems with antivirus programmes

Some of you may have heard about some recent major problems with certain antivirus programmes – or may have even suffered from those problems.

I am sorry if you encountered any difficulties with your antivirus programme. I hope that you found a solution for it and that you managed to get your PC up and running again.

For those of you who have not considered Norton lately: Maybe now it would be a good time to take the Norton Challenge and see how we have improved! Check this out - Mod edit (Gav): Spam link removed See how we have enhanced our performance. And just give it a try, there's a money back guarantee!

Jack from Symantec

Norton has always been resource hungry and an absolute bitch to remove from your system. I'll give it a miss, thanks.

Re: Recent problems with antivirus programmes

Warning: that link is NOT an official Symantec link, looking at the whois record.

If anyone has been there, or downloaded anything, I recommend going directly to another anti-virus company.

I'll leave this thread visible in case anyone went there already, but i'll close it.
