Has AVG gone pay only?

Looking at Grisoft.com I cannot see anything about a free version for home users.

Have they dropped this now?

Don't care, avast pees on it anyway.

I had to clean a mate's PC a while back, there were viruses that messed up MS anti spyware, the latest version even, and AVG didn't find anything. Avast in boot-time scan fixed the problem.

Re: Has AVG gone pay only?

Main problem with AVG Free is the recurrent update problems.

I'm seriously thinking of getting the paid update to ETRUST that came with the new machine - or trying to bludge a free year on the Microsoft deal, or a very cheap two.
