Antivirus for Windows Server 2003
Does anyone know of a good antivirus system (preferably free or at least cheap) for Windows Server 2003. I have an old machine I have installed Windows Server 2003 on, and would like to make sure it's protected against viruses as well as spyware (already has Microsoft Antispyware, Spybot and Adaware on it).

I use Avast, it does the job nicely - and it's free.

Re: Antivirus for Windows Server 2003
Last time I tried, Avast wouldn't install on Windows Server.
I had exactly the same problem here:

Never really got it sorted either
I've had to resort to virus checking all files using the laptop before they go onto the server

Re: Antivirus for Windows Server 2003
Give Sophos a try, I know it costs but its good for deploying over the network.

Tell me about it.. I had to roll out McAfee to 60 machines. Once I got McAfee's remote distrubution system working, it was easy.
Not looking to deploy the Antivirus to other machines though. They all have Antivirus software installed, and TBH, I am only going to be using at most 4 machines on the network, so it's not worth the effort of setting up a centralised distribution system. Just want to ensure the server is protected.
