Thanks for the information you've given us so far on this. We're continuing to work with Spotify to investigate what's happening here but unfortunately we don't have a resolution yet.

For the record we've investigated the possibility of our traffic management system causing this and it isn't, there isn't a "known throttling problem" so I'll ask Spotify to clarify this with their support staff. Our P2P traffic shaping only affects P2P file sharing, not other P2P programs like Skype or Spotify.
