I've just rung home to get someone to check the (V+) box. Yes, it does appear that Current TV VOD has already been removed! VM seem to have jumped the gun on this one, not that there was much there anyway,but still

The last time I checked was on 24 January 2012 and there was only two programmes present. (The programme where Jeff Leach has sex for money and the other about bootlegged booze.)

Previous channel closures have seen VOD being made available for a time after the withdrawal of the linear channel, or even permanently. I guess it depends on the contractual agreement, but I am surprised that a mutually agreeable amendment has not been reached between VM and Current TV to enable continuation of programmes on VOD.

I expect that the website will redirect to the US version shortly after the closure, as people are being invited to keep in touch this way.
