I will try changing the port settings in Outlook Express, not much of a Mac fanboy myself either but needs must. A lot of the tech info I use for my work, fault codes etc is much easier to transport on a tablet than a laptop, plus I always like playing with new toys.

PS, cannot get to the advanced settings for mail on the iPad yet, it must be in there somewhere. :-)
