Well on the topic of this post, how is it helping the economy me doing xx amount of hours a week at tesco for nothing?
their shareholders get a boost. Thats it.
On the original scheme I would have got a job interview and thats it, I likely would have lost time actually looking for paid employment.
Slave labour isnt the fix for excessive capitalism, regulating it is the fix. "excessive profits" needs to become a real thing.
