Sorry - that's wrong - if you was to plug it into the Sky box the magic eye IR receiver is wired to the inline adapter so in essence the magic eye part would be near Sky box. a) that's pointless if the TV is in another room. How would the remote upstairs work with the magic eye if it's downstairs? Answer - it won't!
