Question Magic Eye

I got my dad a magic eye for his TV / Sky Box, as he was fitting his sky box in his wardrobe in the bedroom, it works fine for his set up, and i bought myself one for my set up.

Heres what I bought.....

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...00_i00_details

My problem is that my TV is a 63" Plasma, so I cant exactly take it off the wall to plug in the coax cable that it says is required.

I thought you could just plug this in the back of the sky box and bobs your uncle.

Is their a way i can get this to work without taking down my plasma?, and if not, Is there anything i can buy to plug into my sky box to increase the IR range?
