Once you change the login details then its changed permanently, (unless you do a pin hole rest) and cant be accessed using the original "admin" and "password"

Its recommended you do this to stop people getting their grubby mits on your broadband, your problem would appear to be that you don't know what your friend reset them to, hence the reason you need to reset it.
