So when I ordered mine the estimated dispatch day was 'on or before the 8th of September'. The final day of that period has arrived and I still have no more information. My order remains 'not yet dispatched' and with the typical 'we'll e-mail you yadda yadda yadda'.

Looking at the Amazon forums all the Wi-fi models ordered in the same time period are preparing for dispatch. No word for me so I am guessing they have missed the deadline date. I shall be e-mailing them soon.
