We only watch the forums because Virgin have a track record of telling customers some time after the tell the press.
Issue a press statement and send out an email to customers at the same time would at least send a message out that they care as much about thier customers as they do the press.
As ive mentioned before customers pay the bills the press dont. (although of course publicity they offer is good for virgin)

I will never post anything on here with regards to Virginmedia ahead of the release date as it would be business sensitive information and I could lose my job so it is not worth it.
