Thats MORE expensive than a D5000 with 18mm-55mm VR lens, why would you buy that as opposed to the D5000 (which is supposed to be a step up from the D3000)? |
The D5000 is 12.9 mega-pixel, the D3100 is 14.2. Lots of little upgrades make the D3100 better than the D5000.
AFAIK there isn't an upgrade for the D5000, but there will be a D90 replacement (D95?) possibly 16mega-pixel, 39 AF points, better low noise.
