I'm V+ SA box connected to a Sony LCD by HDMI. I have V+ set to 1080 as I want people to be their proper shape on 4:3 transmissions, not squished down and stretched out.
It is annoying when some of the crappier channels transmit so you have black bars not only left and right but top and bottom as well
. But the Sony TV gives me aspect ratio options of Wide, Zoom and Smart, so at least I can zoom in on those if I want.
