Re: Email has stopped working.
Since my post on 29.07.10 I have had no problem with my pop3 email using Outlook 2007 with Windows 7 and @ntlworls.com account. Perhaps as Masque said, VM must have fixed the problem at 1330hours on 29.07.2010. My settings are:- Account Type: POP3, Incoming Mail Server pop.ntlworld.co, Outgoing Mail Server smtp.virginmedia.com, remember password box checked, unchecked "require logon using Secure Password Authenticatio (SPA), checked "My outgoing server (SMPT) requires authentication" box in the Outgoing Server tab and I checked "use same settings as my incoming mail server", and under Advanced tab used Server Port Numbers POP3 995 with checked box for "this server requires an encrypted connection (SSL), Outgoing server (SMPT) 465 and "use the following type of encrypted connection" SSL.
The above is working for me just fine. Sorry to be so long winded.
