Clarkson certainly isn't my cup of char far from it, but why on earth are people getting offended by these rather innocuous remarks?

Besides anybody who tunes into Top Gear surely knows they are going to see a bunch of 40 to 60 year old men desperately trying to recapture their youth in front of an audience of twenty somethings, Clarkson and co are more embarrassing than offensive.
