I am currently on Vodafone UK and would like to change to Orange UK. My handset is unlocked.

I have ordered my free Orange SIM card online.

When the SIM card arrvies, I will call Vodafone to get my PAC code.

How do Vodafone give you your PAC code? Is it via a text?

When I have received the PAC code all I have to do is call Orange and they will transfer my exisiting Vodafone number to their network? How long does it normally take?

Is this correct?

Do Orange give you free credit for switching?

When I receive the Orange SIM card do I put it into the phone straightaway and accept the settings? Or do I call Orange from another phone with my PAC code and they will tell me when to insert my new Orange SIM card?
