I'm posting this here because it sounds so familiar.
Basically, General McChrystal, who is command of the ISAF (international force in Afghanistan) criticised Obama and Obama's chums. He's now being summoned to the White House.
BBC's Washington correspondent, said this:

This is after a gushing apology for things, of which at least some, seemed very relevent.
Same thing as with Hayward. Obama is hitting people who have little or no defence to make himself look 'big' and 'tough'. But really he is just being made to look like a bully.
