Hi Guys. Am having very similar problems with VM. Have been with them for years (original an NTL customer) The package then was for the L TV (which at the time included catch up tv) Phone and L Broadband. Approx 12 months ago my bill jumped by almost £10.00. I phoned their '' customer services dept'' (HA HA) to be informed that the increase was for the catch up tv. After several heated telephone conversations during which I stated that it was wrong for them to simply remove something in the original agreement and finally asked them to cancell the service I was told that due to being a long term customer they would include the catch up tv in the price for TV L. Ok Thats good.... But today I open my V M bill to find that the £10.00 increase has been put on again. Phone CS to be informed that whilst indeed the system shows that they had agreed catch up tv would be included in my package at no extra cost (as per the original agreement) the additional cost was down to a small price increase of approx £2.99 and £7.00 for something called teleport. I asked them to cancell the teleport then only to be told that teleport is the new version of catch up tv and therefore the agreement for it to be included is no longer valid. ???????. So I told them I would cancell the contract due to their unfair changes and switch to SKY ( who incidently have offered their v+ box 10mb broadband and phone with free evening and weekend calls for £33.00 a month.... Am Paying £44.24 for the virgin pack with standard box) and their reply Quote we can disconnect the service for you now and forward you a bill of £55.00 for the disconection fee. What Any one want to comment.
