My second TV is now HD capable and the old Pace V box is Scart only. Looking at the options, I can pay the same £50 for a V Box HD OR a V+ HV PVR, so a bit of a no brainer. However, after the news (from last NOVEMBER) that a deal had been done with Tivo, I'd rather u'g to this, and cascade my V+. The difficulty is I dislike being locked in to another 12 months with no opportunity to switch if I address my current requirements.

Neith my local engineer nor CS on the phone have anything other than 'later in the year' - anyone heard any different?
