If VM can only offer 2Mb then every other DSL service would probably offer the same speed, so is the OP expecting/wanting an internet service at all at the far end?? The fact that there is a connection there is more relevant than the speed available..

Question @ Ben, what's the current limit on the cancellation fee?? Just that the OP hasn't mentioned that he's been informed that there is one
