That's a pretty weak suggestion. There seem to be plenty of misguided folk coming out in support of Venables and Thompson when it's said they deserved to be tried in an adult court, that they should have had life, that they shouldn't have new identities. Why not defend them over something like sexual abuse allegations? Seems pretty obvious to me especially if they don't want the pair painted in any worse a picture than they already are?
Or, perhaps let me guess, you think it wasn't worth the effort?
