Virgin has told me that fibre optic is NOT available on my postcode but they can still offer me "up to 10MB" bb speeds with actual/average speeds apparently reaching "at least 7-8MB". i am just wondering how and why did they said that? are they using some kind of special hardware or equipment or unbundling technique different from TT's?
