It's a good job we didn't have oxygen cylinders available for me to experiment with all those years ago.
My downfall was assuming the fume cupboard would contain any explosive reaction that I created. I was banned from using a Bunsen burner after blowing the main shield off it's runner and setting fire to the work bench. I was a very misunderstood child, my thirst for knowledge being classed as irresponsible behaviour.
