After everyone had raved about the past games and seeing the videos I thought it would be better. It's ok, way above average, but not what I'd hoped for. A friend bought it at the same time and plays team deathmatch games normally, he said that deathmatch is pointless as everyone seems to go for the sniper and camps forever, so it takes ages to get any kills. He spent over an hour in one game because nobody was moving and nobody was getting any kills.

My gripes, snipers, too many and the scopes are rock solid, so basically you hit what you look at with no problems. In a lot of games you get too many snipers, maybe 50% of the players are sniping. The other issue, NOBODY talks! Ok, in MW2 you don't get everyone talking and you get some 'banter', but in BFBC2 I've never heard another player speak. As it's a squad game, this makes it pointless. You get no backup from everyone, it's like people think they're in a single player game or something. You get in a tank and unless you have someone with a brain on your team, you never get anyone on the machine gun, because no-one else gets in with you. People spawn and run headlessly towards the M-COM, instead of working together or hang around sniping from 10 miles away.

I'll keep on playing it until I've got all the achievements, but if it hasn't picked up then and people haven't learnt how to play it properly, I'm trading it in.
All fair points. Its just a case of what you want from a MP game and BF:BC2 is more what I want than COD. Have you tried the Conquest mode ? Tbh thats the only mode I play at the moment. Seems much more action going on. Its like Domination in COD. Its by far my favorite mode.
