It's something to do with the billing system virgin use. where broadband had to be the full cost and then discounted using a credit. L broadband is £20 on it's own and xl is £30 on it's own. Do the discounts increase/decrease if I change BB rates? If so what would I end up paying if nothing else in my package changed?

I don't use the Virgin telephone line and do have a BT line installed and active so if I were to cancel the Virgin phone and BB then went to O2 as I have a mobile with them, then I may end up actually saving money. But that is muddying the waters of my original question
