If justice was seen and felt to be done we might not have so many lynch mob type attitudes and this case highlights that. for the record i am not in favour of any harm being done to this individual by members of the public for whatever reason and i hope that if he has commited another act that merits jail he will go back for life this time meaning life.

Had they released the details of what he did a lot of the media circus could have been avoided and a lot of anger that has cropped up could have been prevented. Enough details could have been given to stop speculation without giving away his individual identity although that horse has bolted as someone that knows it will spill for cash now.

I still think this whole episode has been more about certain people covering their backsides then any pretence at justice and we should have a thorough look at the procedures that take place determining whether someone should be released as in this case it clearly failed.
