Well, that's the first I've heard of it. Who was the whistleblower, and do you have a link? I thought the Government released a statement after first telling Denise Fergus etc.

These two paedophiles had millions spent on them and their families.

It says something for the level of the debate we're having here, when you don't even know what Thompson and Venables were locked up for in the first place.

How many kids can claim to have been to disney world, had the money thrown at them that these two have?

So much for our elected representatives doing their duty in protecting the people hey ?

Do you have a page of mindless rants like this, for copying and pasting whenever the need arises?

It could be reported what Venables has done, to suggest that he would not get a fair trial is a cop out.

Why? (Treat that as a rhetorical question if you like, I know you're unlikely to be able to string together an answer that makes any sense).

In line with what another poster has put up, I feel it acceptable that venables be sent to prison for life for the very breach he is currently accused of.
|
Seeing as you can't possibly know what he has been accused of, you can't possibly know whether a life sentence is even available as a sentencing option. However, you may get your wish anyway, I think there's a reasonable chance he will never get parole again for his original offence.

Just to let you know, the name you mention was not the one sent to me.

Great. And what steps have you taken to verify it's accurate? Or were you planning to act like all the Facebook morons who have been gleefully persecuting that poor bloke in Fleetwood for the last week?
