Had something like at a company I used to work for. Guy phoned up 'cos the computer he'd bought from a chap down the pub didn't work. It was actually a customised computer terminal that we'd supplied to DHSS benefit offices. The slot the floppy disc wouldn't go into was in fact an ID card reader. Took his contact info and passed it onto my opposite number at the DHSS. Oddly, the guy never called back.
