Vanguards get SMGs, Heavy Pistols, & Shotguns. I was a Vanguard, but soon gave up on using the Charge power, & stuck to using SMGs/HPs most of the time. Don't think I ever used the shotgun.

Section 1) -

Tali for the tunnels. Legion would work too. Some other team members have tech abilities, but none are pure tech like Tali & Legion.

Garrus for the Fireteam. Miranda also works. Apparently so does Jacob.

Miranda for my team, along with Legion.



Section 2) -

Samara for the Shield. Jack would also work (but would presumably need her specific Upgrade). Although Miranda & others have Biotics, none of them are pure Biotics.

Mordin for the Escort.

Garrus again for the Fireteam.

Miranda for my team, along with someone else I can't remember.



Section 3) -

Miranda & Samara for my team. Everyone else Held.The.Line.

What was Tali doing? Was she Loyal? Were the other Specialists Loyal?

I did her loyalty mission but screwed it up so she wasn't loyal. I think a lot to do with it is the upgrades as well. Mordin survived this time because he had the tech tool upgrade. I got the biotic duration upgrade which i think helped me in that section as well
