Sonic The Hedgehog 4 !

I stumbled across some awesome news today. Its something I've been wishing would be made for years. Its a brand new 2D, yeah thats right 2D! Sonic game.

It will be getting released in Episodic format this summer. It will be avalible on the PSN, Live and Wiiware. Wow, Wow, Wow I am very excited. I know some might be thinking "its only sonic a 2D platformer" but It gave me alot of joy as a child and I've been wanting to play a new one ever since. All the 3D sonic games have been no intrest to me at all but this one most certainly is.

A teaser trailer is at the following link. Only has a second or so of gameplay within it but even that look's brilliant. WOOOOOOOOO !

Sega debuted a trailer for the game, showing off the fourth proper installment of the iconic side-scrolling platformer star. The teaser starts with a retrospective of the series, gradually transitioning the memorable mammal's visage to a new HD version of Sonic, with waypoints at 1991 (the original Sonic), 1992 (Sonic 2), and 1994 (Sonic 3)
