i must agree with Sharp tech support being useless. my Sharp went faulty and tech support did not even think the tv was faulty. i was directed to a local repair center and when the engineer came he knew the issue and he said it was a common fault with the tv model i have, he even showed me the revision to the replacement I/O board that was made by Sharp to solve the issue.
