When trying to connect my new V+ box to my Sharp Aquos LCD TV, I get sound but no picture through the HD channel. I have called Sharp and they are blaming Virgin Media's Samsung Boxes and cannot help me.
Does anyone else have a Sharp LCD TV and having this problem? If I call VM - I can imagine that they will just blame Sharp. I am setting it up correctly because you can get it working by going to the menu in the HD channel on the TV (EXT 7, where you hear the sound) and under the options sub menu, reset the "audio with no picture" option - you can now view in HD.
Sharp say it is a communication error with the V+ box.
The only way around it is to do the menu reset each time you turn on the V+ box. grrrrrrr.
