It seems possibly to have resolved itself, but it's 3pm, if it gets worse later I'm just going to assume it's oversubscribed.

Router etc is all fine. Already checked the status page, didn't find anything relevant, that's why I asked here before I rang up.

Can't check modem levels, haven't been able to log into the modem for a good number of years now for some reason. (it's a flat silver ambit, possibly ntl 100)
