Anyway back to something resembling the topic for a moment.
Sentencing is a matter for the courts via the governments moderately ridiculous sentencing guidelines. Having a quick squinty through them means he'll (I'll assume) have no relevant pre-cons. It will be counted against him having a position of responsibility. There may be mitigating circumstances that will come out later.
I would doubt he'll get the maximum sentence. In fact if he does I'll be amazed.
