The Sun has claimed that Sree held ‘crisis talks’ with lawyers yesterday after bosses learnt he could be in the UK illegally.
According to the paper, Sree, who is originally from India, requested an extension on his student visa in January, but Big Brother producers learnt earlier this week that his application had been rejected.
He was apparently allowed to see a solicitor in the house yesterday — the ‘first time’ that a visitor has been allowed on set — to sign forms appealing the decision.
If his appeal is successful he will be granted another three months in the UK, but if it isn’t he will be sent back to India.
A spokeswoman ‘confirmed’: “Sree has had private meetings with an immigration lawyer within the house.”
