Yes, satellite transmissions are multiplexed same as cable and Freeview. If Sky3 has gone missing, then a handful of others should have as well. But unlike cable, which distributes regionally, there is only one satellite signal for the whole UK. So if there really was a problem with the multiplex that carries Sky3, everyone would be experiencing it, not just you.

When you say Freesat, I assume you mean FreesatfromSky, as a proper Freesat box does not have a viewing card?
