Regarding the registration of the modem, would it still work fine via the iPod touch if it wasn't registered? I could connect to the router and surf fine through the iPod but the PC refused to connect to anything. Despite being fully "connected" to the network (not limited).
It's as if something was conflicting with the connection, refusing to recognise that it is indeed connected.

I just spoke to my s/o's mum and she's booked an Engi to come look at the system May the 7th. I've got til then to sort it before they grow so frustrated that they switch back.
