QoS - quality of service of the voice call - prioritisation over data would have to be in place

Still have call costs to outside VM land lines.

What's in it for the customer, that they can't get from Skype/etc at the moment?
Agreed - not a lot in it for the customer. From my point of view VOIP is great, i use vonage and when i go abroad, i take by box and can stay in touch for free - i still have a local bristol code in America

I have a media centre in my lounge, and i like the thought of having my TV running through it which is where IPTV would be good for me

The only real alt is to use a slingbox which doesnt keep the same quality as the source.

I would love VM to support Cablecard like in the US but that doesnt seem like it will ever happen
