Hi,

There are lots of channels still not broadcast in 16:9, most of the music channels are still 4:3, only a few, 4 Music, Flaunt and a couple of others, are broadcast in 16:9

Pretty much everything on BBC ITV etc is now broadcast in 16:9, even old 4:3 programs but with black bars down the sides rather than the top & bottom.

Even on channels like Sky1 where a lot is now 16:9 some of the programmes are still 4:3.
I can see this on my TV if for example, watching The Simpsons on Sky1 and the ads come on my TV will switch to "Wide" and back to "Auto" when then Simpsons comes back on.
